If you answered yes to any of these questions, the solution is an incentive program. Not the common garden variety incentive program, but a program based on positive feedback principles by rewarding and recognizing employees for doing what’s “right.” Reward and recognition is a key element in optimizing performance and employee job satisfaction. Studies have confirmed that behavior modification or reinforcement is achieved through positive methods. We have too often tied our safety and operational performance to factors that are negative and, therefore, have poor results or no improvement.

This is why we have developed a positive feedback system called Reward & Recognition Incentive Program (R²IP™). R²IP™ generates participation, involvement and improved safety awareness. Employees are rewarded and recognized for participating in the events, practices, job activities and/or achieving goals that create a safer and more productive work environment. The selected behaviors require active participation on the part of an employee and each employee has control over whether they have a chance to win or not.

R²IP™ is easy to administer. When an employee meets the defined qualifying event, practice or job activity they are given a R²IP™ token. The tokens should be given as close to the qualifying behavior as possible. Based on your program parameters, your employees should receive the reward and recognition immediately. 50% of the R²IP™ tokens have awards and 50% have safety or improvement phrases.

We provide only the tokens. You determine the frequency and amount of awards. Having the awards self-funded gives you total control of the incentive program costs before the program starts.
